王佳衛(1994, 福建)，成長於香港，現居上海。 曾居住於珀斯、和紐約市。2014年至2018年間在舊金山學習藝術與攝影。
他的創作通常始於普遍日常中異樣的視覺和觸覺經驗。透過對局部的選擇性提取與細緻描述，掌握那些尚未形成明確指向、在生活中被錯過的時刻。
他的近期作品關注現代生活的幕後，世界運作中的非表演性狀態：偶然、維護、等待、匿名、剩餘、過渡…
Intro
Wong Kai Wai (b. 1994, Fujian) is an artist and photographer who grew up in Hong Kong and now lives in Shanghai.
Kai studied art and photography in San Francisco between 2014 and 2018. He documents the obvious yet
overlooked scene in life, where the poetic and the political coexist. He prompts viewers to question what
they are seeing and the forces that shape it.
